The Parkdale Orchestra is performing a night of opera hits including Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Bizet, and… McDonald and Arnold! The program includes scenes from Corey Arnold and Kyle McDonald’s first opera, The Lion Heart.

Bravissimo! The Parkdale United Church Orchestra presents POpera, showcasing an all-star cast of Ottawa opera performers in a parade of the greatest opera favourites from The Magic Flute, The Barber of Seville, Il Trovatore, and many more. All the big names in opera will be there — Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Bizet — and the concert will also feature selections from The Lion Heart, a new Canadian composition by guest performers Corey Arnold and Kyle MacDonald. Tuxedos and opera gloves are not required, but we certainly won’t stop you!
